Northern Werebeasts
Set Traits:
- Tall
- Hearty
- Covered in dark patterned fur
- Very beast like
- Feline or Canine, normally never Equines or anything else
- Their fur is long to help deal with the tundra cold
- Werebeasts like to decorate themselves in beads and feathers for appearance, but this is normally a personal preference depending on the character.
- Some Werebeasts have created family crests or patterns that they decorate their fur with.
Skills:
- Physically strong
- Long, dangerous weapon like claws
- They're hunters with heightened senses
- Extreme survival abilities
- Very fast
- They're pack creatures, so they remain strong and loyal to one another, it's rare to find a solo Werebeast
Living conditions:
- Northern Werebeasts live in cabin like homes, built with fireplaces and methods to keep themselves warm.
- Furs, leathers and everything is created from their catches.
- They're a hunting village and packs, tight knit and created to survive.
- The females concentrate on learning to dry leathers, use the animal remains for clothing for the male, creating meals and home-care, while the male's hunt, though it is possible for females to concentrate on hunting or for some males to concentrate on home-care instead.
- Same sex couples are common and accepted.
- There is always an 'alpha' of the pack, normally male, that manages the hunting groups, ensures survival and takes on the responsibility for the packs and the village.
- Males either pick to go fishing or hunting.
- Werebeast villages often trade among each other.
- Villages built closer to the ocean are normally fishing villages, whom trade off their oils, fats, and fish goods for the mountain village's hunting goods, to aid with each other's survival.
Background/History:
- So far, all that is known about Northern Werebeasts, is that they loath their Southern counterparts for their decisions on their way of living.
- They are very proud and loving creatures for one another, and anyone who respects them.
- Werebeasts love to celebrate and respect everything, they live off the land and care not for their god and what they expect of them, enjoying the life of survival, hunting, and fine ales.
- They trade often with the Drabells and would do anything for Drabell ale or fine weeds
